Phil Harrison who is the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios has announced that he is resigning after being with the complany for 15 years. The resignation is effictive as of February 29, 2008. Kaz Hirai, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment will assume his roles for the time being.
You probably remember him from all the press conferences he has done, especially the most recent E3 ones, demonstrating Home and LittleBigPlanet.
Update: One week after he announced he was resigning from Sony, he has now been employed by Infogrames, the parent company of Atari.

My opinion: I have always liked him and kind of thought of him and Kaz as Playstation spokesmen, but I think Kaz will do just fine, and I wish Phil the best of luck wherever he goes. I’m wondering what company he will sing up with and what he will do there. Looking forward to it.
